We ask riders to raise at least £150 for charity. You can choose to:
- nominate your preferred charity; or
- ask the Hayling Cycle Ride to make donations on your behalf
All the money raised goes to charitable causes. Also, you can give your money direct to the charity so it can benefit from Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer.
So far we have raised well in excess of £1.7m and supported an enormous range of charities - you can see a sample here.
Our founder and President - Pete McQuade - has been awarded an MBE in recognition of the Hayling Cycle Ride's achievements.
