The organisation

All costs involved come out of the entry fee met by the cyclists, and so 100% of the funds raised go to the chosen charities.

These are just some of the comments made by participants in the Paris To Hayling Cycle Ride.

  • "Absolutely brilliant"
  • "Everyone was so friendly and helpful"
  • "I have been on several charity rides but this was by far the best organised and most enjoyable"
  • "The support crew were fantastic"
  • "Marvelous Team Spirit"
  • "I come back every year, wouldn't miss it!"

Full support facilities are provided by a well-equipped support crew with experience in both first-aid and bike repair. All vehicles are in constant communication, and carry bike spares, medical supplies and wayside refreshments.

All essential transport, organisational and accommodation aspects of the event are of the highest quality.

Open to all from 16 upwards (or 14 upwards at the committee's discretion), the Ride is an ideal opportunity for the more adventurous to add that bit extra to their lives, as well as to the lives of others.

Association for Charitable Endeavours (A.C.E.)

The body responsible for organising the Paris to Hayling Charity Cycle Ride is known as the Association for Charitable Endeavours (Hayling Island), or A.C.E and acts as the charitable wing of the organisation. It is also responsible for the start-up and promotion of the Ale-ing Fest, Hayling's beer festival, and is constitutionally empowered to organise other charity-linked events. This non-profit making association has a written constitution which describes its activities, limitations, and obligations, as well as a formal elected committee.

Committee members

The Paris to Hayling Charity Cycle ride could not go ahead without the dedication of a small but hard working group of people. Click the button below for a full list of our committee members.

Cycle Hayling

Please consider supporting our sister organisation that campaigns to make Hayling Island more cycle-friendly. It won't cost you anything, and the more supporters it gets, the more its voice will be heard.
